Meetings of Council
Council Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month in the Council Meeting Room, 1 Market Square, Burra, commencing at 1.00pm.
If required, special meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month in the Council Meeting Room, 1 Market Square, Burra, commencing at 1.00pm.
Members of the public are welcome to attend Council meetings.
Agenda and Minutes
Agendas for the monthly Council meetings are placed on public display no less than three days prior to, and minutes are available within five days after the meetings, at the Burra and Eudunda Offices.

Members of the public have a number of opportunities to put forward their views on particular issues before Council. These are;
Public Question Time
A member of the public may attend a Council Meeting and ask a question during Public Question Time, which is held at the start of every meeting.
With the permission of the Mayor or the Committee Chairman, a member of the public can address the Council or Committee personally or on behalf of a group of residents on any issue relevant to Council.
Presentation to Council
With prior notification and arrangements with the Council Mayor, a member can address the Council for up to ten minutes on any issue relevant to Council.
Written petitions can be addressed to the Council on any issue within the Council's jurisdiction.
A member of the public can write to the Council on any Council policy, activity or service.
Members of the public can contact Elected Members of Council to discuss any issue relevant to Council.
